Only a ~1 km area is stored. Your phone's position is turned into an area on our server and the coordinates are discarded.
Pins move every day. Your pin sits at a random spot inside that area, so nobody can triangulate you.
Zoom is capped. The map never zooms close enough to point at a building.
Your name stays hidden until you choose to show it or a chat opens.

Good questions.
Can people see where I live?
No. Vibez only stores a roughly 1 km area, never your coordinates, and shows your pin at a random spot inside it that changes daily. The map can't zoom in far enough to point at a building.
What does verification involve?
A short live selfie: you'll be asked to blink, smile or turn your head. It proves you're a real adult. The selfie itself is never shown to anyone; your profile picture is a crop made from it.
Is Vibez really free?
Until 1 January 2027, everything is free. After that, sending an opener stays free forever; replying needs Vibez Membership (₹599/month). If a member replies to you, you can keep chatting without paying.
Who can see my name?
Nobody, by default. You appear as "Someone, 24" until you turn on "Show my name" or a conversation opens.
What happens to my data if I leave?
Delete your account in Me → Settings and your profile, photos, selfie and location area are deleted immediately. Details are in our Privacy Policy, and you can also request deletion on the web.
